QA Automation Engineer (Data Engineering and Algorithmics)

The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our data engineering and algorithmics projects through the development and maintenance of automation scripts and test cases.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance and automation, with a focus on data engineering and algorithmics
  • Basic knowledge of AWS cloud platform and its services
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and advanced SQL query writing
  • Basic knowledge  in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, TestNG, or Selenium
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins or TravisCI
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - advantage 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and test cases to ensure the quality of our data engineering and algorithmics projects
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing on applications and systems to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with data engineers and algorithmics team to design and implement effective test strategies
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed bug reports and recommendations for resolution
  • Manage and oversee the team's bug backlog and quality-related processes to ensure timely resolution and delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and test cases to ensure the quality of our data engineering and algorithmics projects using SQL queries
  • Analyze and verify data integrity through running advanced SQL queries

  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies in automation and quality assurance
